Come check out the spring wildflowers

 In Newsletter

A mild winter with warm February temperatures has jumpstarted spring up here, and we’re already seeing lots of alpine wildflowers. This spring is a great opportunity to explore one of our many nearby hiking trails and discover wildflowers of all different colors and types, many of which are only native to the Rogue River National Forest.

Check out our trail map of nearby hikes.

Crater Lake National Park is also a hot spot for wildflowers on one of many hikes surrounding the lake. The Castle Crest Wildflower Trail is one of the best – it’s an easy one-mile loop from the park Headquarters.
