Reservation Policies

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Union Creek Resort. We work hard to offer a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all of our guests. Below are the resort’s policies and procedures; please read them carefully. As our guests, by reading and booking your resort accommodation you are agreeing to abide by our resort policies and procedures.

RESERVATIONS

Reservations of one or two-day stays require full payment upon arrival. Reservations for stays of more than two days require one night’s deposit at the time of booking. Booking more than one cabin or lodge room requires a deposit of one night at the time of booking. Reservations consisting of multiple units, extended stays, or requesting special needs, should contact the manager at Union Creek Resort for additional guidelines and policies.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All resort reservations during the summer months (May 1st through September 30th) have a 30-day prior to arrival cancellation policy; All winter resort reservations (October 1st through April 30th) have a 14-day prior to arrival cancellation policy; and all holiday reservations have a NO CANCEL prior to arrival cancellation policy. If cancelled WITHIN the prior to arrival date or for a holiday reservation you will be responsible for the full amount of the reservation. If cancelled OUTSIDE the prior to arrival date you will be assessed a $35.00 service fee

CHECK-IN

Check-in time is any time after 3 pm (not guaranteed due to high volume of occupancy). Guest will be required to present a valid credit/debit card upon check-in along with a valid form of identification. Full payment plus any required deposit is required at the time of check-in. Union Creek Resort will make every effort to honor special requests. However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance. The resort reserves all rights to refuse service to any guest of the resort who does not follow or comply with resort policies.

CHECK-OUT

Check-out is at 11 am. If you require a later check-out, please contact the Receptionist Supervisor before 10 am on the day of departure, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. A charge may apply, depending on availability. If guest continues to occupy their room past 11 am without prior approval from management, an additional fee up to a full night’s rate will be charged. There are no refunds for early check-outs and “no shows”. Should the number of guests stated on your reservation increase upon check-in, the resort reserves the right to move you to a larger cabin at its stated rack rate if available. Should a larger cabin not be available, the resort reserves the right to apply additional fees or penalties.

CASH PAYMENT

If you choose to pay with cash, you will be required to pay the full amount of the room, including taxes and fees at check-in. A $100.00 deposit per night is required and will be returned to you on your departure date after housekeeping has checked your room/cabin.

CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS

The resort does accept all major credit cards. If you choose to use your debit card at check-in the resort will place a hold of the full anticipated dollar amount of your stay through your departure date, as well as an estimated hold for damage or incidentals. Remaining funds due back to your debited account will be released upon check-out, which may take 4-15 business days to process. Additionally, your financial institution may have a contracted amount of time before the funds are released back to you, which can take up to 15 business days.

SMOKING POLICIES

Smoking is prohibited in all public areas, cabins, and structures of the resort. A $250.00 fine will be applied for smoking in any of these areas. Smoking is allowed in designated “smoking” areas outside and more than 10 feet away from any structure. Please dispose of cigarette butts in proper containers so as to protect our forest and not create a potential fire situation.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT

Safety equipment, smoke detectors, and fire extinguishers have been provided and installed for the safety of our guests. Dismantling or damaging these devices is strictly prohibited and the guest may be assessed a fee for damage as well as asked to depart the premises.

PET POLICIES

We are a pet-friendly resort. However, pets are specifically not allowed in any Lodge Rooms, Cabin 3, Cabin 6, or Cabin 7. All unauthorized pets in any unit (pets not claimed and pet fee paid for at time of arrival) or pets found in the Lodge, Cabin 3, 6, or 7 will be assessed a fine of $250.00 to your card or deposit on file.

FIRE PIT POLICIES

Fire pits are provided for your enjoyment. Please, do not build new fire pits or move the existing fire pits. Firewood is also NOT provided for the outdoor fire pits. If you need wood, the Union Creek Store has firewood for sale.  Should you use firewood supplied for the indoor fireplaces you will be assessed a fee based on the amount of firewood used plus $35.00.

NO IN-ROOM PARTY POLICY

Union Creek Resort enforces a NO IN-ROOM PARTY POLICY to ensure we can protect the resort and our guests at all times. In the event of a disturbance, one warning will be given.  If this warning is not followed, the guest will forfeit all fees and must leave the resort immediately.

RESORT FURNISHINGS AND DÉCOR

The resort strives to provide our guests with quality furnishings and décor. Damage incurred by our guests will be charged based upon the replacement cost of the item plus $35.00. Furnishings belong inside and are not meant for outdoor use. Fees may be assessed whether damage occurred or not, should guest take it upon themselves to move furniture and/or decor.  Picnic tables are provided for use outdoors.

DAMAGE OR INCIDENTALS

The resort reserves the right to charge your card or deposit on file for any damages or incidentals that occur during your stay. Please respect the resort’s property, employees, and other guests.

Vacation Rental Cabin Cleaning Fee

Vacation rental cabins (Cabins 11, 12, 13, 14, and 17) are self-contained accommodations and include a washer/dryer for extended stay cleaning. Please note that there is a $49 fixed cleaning fee for vacation rental cabins that is due at the time of check-in.

HOLIDAY POLICY

Please note that all holidays are considered non-cancellable and must be prepaid at the time of booking. Holiday reservations also require a two-night minimum stay.

If you would like to stay only one night during a Holiday stay that normally requires a two-night stay, please give us a call at 866-560-3565 and we will see if we can accommodate you either on the end of another two-night stay or between a pair of two-night stays. Your flexibility is appreciated as we may not be able to accommodate the exact room or day you desire.

LOSS OR DAMAGE

The resort is not responsible and does not assume any liability for any damage or loss of the property or belongings of any guest of the resort. Lost and Found items will be kept for a period of 30 days and if contacted by the guest, arrangements may be made to ship the item to the guest at guest’s expense. If not contacted prior to 30 days, the resort may dispose of Lost and Found items in any means it see fit.

RESORT/TAX FEE

All Lodging Gift Certificates and advertised Lodging Specials, will be assessed a RESORT/TAX FEE of $10.00.

PROMOTION POLICY

If you choose to take advantage of any promotions offered through the resort, please follow all restrictions associated with each offer. Management reserves the right to change or cancel all promotions.
